Preliminary Procedures

  1. Remove the battery cover/engine control module (ECM).
  2. Disconnect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection 
  3. Remove the battery fuse block. Refer to Fuse Block Replacement
1 Battery Retainer Fastener
CAUTION:

Refer to Fastener Caution


Tighten 
10 (89 lb in)
2 Battery Retainer
3 Battery
