Installation Procedure

    Fig 1: Battery Negative Cable & Clamp Fastener

    CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  1. Install the battery negative cable (2) to the battery negative post and tighten the clamp fastener (1) to 9 N.m (80 lb in).

  2. Install the battery cover (2) to the battery tray with the retaining tabs (1).
  3. Install the ECM to the top of the battery cover.
