Installation Procedure

    CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  1. Position the filler pipe (4) in place and hand tighten the center nut (3).
  2. Install the filler pipe hose and tighten the clamp (2) to 5 N.m(44 lb in).
  3. Start and hand tighten the lower filler pipe fastener (3).
  4. Connect the evaporative emission line (1). Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service .
  5. Tighten the fasteners (3) to 10 N.m(89 lb in).

  6. Install the housing fasteners (1) and tighten to 10 N.m(89 lb in).
  7. Install the right rear wheelhouse panel liner. Refer to Rear Wheelhouse Panel Liner Replacement .
