SERVICE INFORMATION
The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI.
CONDITION/CONCERN
Customer concern of the engine runs and idles rough with P0171 and/or P0174 - Fuel trim system lean bank 1 or 2.
RECOMMENDATION/INSTRUCTIONS
Inspect the PCV tube for a vacuum leak on the left side of the engine.
The engine cover can cause a rub through on the PCV tube located at the left rear of the intake manifold, just above the fuel line connection
Replace PCV dirty air tube and cover it with conduit to protect from repeat damage. Reset idle and fuel trim retest for the concern.
