Installation Procedure

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice .

Install the bracket to the vehicle.
Install the washers and the nuts to the bracket.
Tighten: Tighten the bracket to frame nuts to 90 N.m (67 lb ft).
Install the air conditioning compressor for the 4.8 L, 5.3 L and 6.0 L engines. Refer to Compressor Replacement (LLY/LMM) or Compressor Replacement (LU3) or Compressor Replacement (LY2, LY5, LH6, L76, L92 and LMG) .
Install the differential carrier assembly. Refer to Differential Carrier Assembly Replacement .
Lower the vehicle.
