Radiator Surge Tank Replacement

Preliminary Procedure Drain the cooling system. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling (Static Fill) or Cooling System Draining and Filling (Vac-N-Fill) . Remove the air cleaner assembly. Refer to Air Cleaner Assembly Replacement .
1	Surge Tank Bolt NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice . Tighten: 10 N.m (89 lb in)
2	Surge Tank Nut Tighten: 10 N.m (89 lb in)
3	Surge Tank Tip: Remove the surge tank hoses from the surge tank.
