Installation Procedure

- Install the bracket to the vehicle.
- Install the washers and the nuts to the bracket and tighten to 90 N.m (67 lb ft).
- Install the air conditioning compressor for the 4.8 L, 5.3 L and 6.0 L engines. Refer to Air Conditioning Compressor Replacement (HP2) , Air Conditioning Compressor Replacement (LY2, LY5, LH6, L76, L92, LC9 and LMG) .
- Install the differential carrier assembly. Refer to Differential Carrier Assembly Replacement (8.25 inch) , Differential Carrier Assembly Replacement (4WD 1500 Hybrid) , Differential Carrier Assembly Replacement (9.25 inch) .
- Lower the vehicle.
