Power Brake Booster Vacuum Sensor Replacement

Preliminary Procedures

  1. Turn the ignition switch to the OFF position.
  2. Apply the brake pedal several times until the brake pedal becomes firm to deplete the power brake booster vacuum reserve.
  3. Disconnect the power brake booster vacuum sensor electrical connector.

Tip:  If necessary, a small amount of denatured alcohol can be used as an assembly aid for installing the power brake booster vacuum sensor to the brake booster. Do not use soap.
