Removal Procedure

  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
  2. Remove the tire and wheel. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation .

  4. Remove the lower control arm bolt from the knuckle (1).
  5. Remove the rear coil spring from the lower control arm. Refer to Rear Spring, Insulator, and Jounce Bumper Replacement .

  7. Remove the lower control arm retaining nut (2).
  8. Remove the lower control arm mounting bolt (1).

  10. Remove the lower control arm from the vehicle (1).
