Circuit/System Verification

  1. Ignition ON, observe the scan tool Sensor Voltage Feed Output parameter. The reading should be between 8.0-9.0 volts.
  2. Perform the LED Test, using the scan tool. Observe the operation of the three LEDs. All three LEDs should illuminate.
    • If the system does not perform as specified, refer to Rear Parking Assist Malfunction below.
  3. Observe scan tool Park Assist System Status parameter, while commanding rear parking assist disable switch ON and OFF. Scan tool parameter should change between Enable and Disable.
    • If the system does not perform as specified, refer to Rear Parking Assist Disable Switch Malfunction below.
