Preliminary Procedures
- Position the door window as needed for service.
- Remove the door trim panel. Refer to Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement

- Remove the water deflector. Refer to Front Side Door Water Deflector Replacement

Front Side Door Lock Screw (Qty: 3)
- Release the door lock cylinder rod.
- Release the outside door handle rod from the door lock clip.
- The mandatory sequence is 3, 1, 2.
Tighten
10 N.m (89 lb in) |

Front Side Door Lock
- Disconnect the electrical plug.
- Transfer all parts to the new lock.
- It may be necessary to reprogrammed the door lock module after replacing the lock. Refer to Control Module References
