Installation Procedure

  1. Install the vehicle yaw sensor with vehicle lateral accelerometer (1).

    CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  2. Install the vehicle yaw sensor with vehicle lateral accelerometer nuts (1) and tighten to 9 N.m (80 lb in).
  3. Connect the vehicle yaw sensor with vehicle lateral accelerometer electrical connector.
  4. Install the front floor console. Refer to Front Floor Console Replacement (Right Hand Drive) , Front Floor Console Replacement (Left Hand Drive) .
  5. Install a scan tool to the vehicle.
  6. Using the special functions menu on the scan tool, reset the vehicle yaw sensor with vehicle lateral accelerometer.
  7. Perform the Diagnostic System Check - Vehicle .
