Circuit/System Verification

Ignition ON, observe the scan tool BCM, SWC Bank 1 Status parameter while pressing the traction control switch. The reading should change between Idle and Switch 6.

• If not the specified value, refer to Steering Wheel Controls Malfunction .
• If the reading changes between Idle and Switch 6, the traction control is inoperative, and there are NO other DTCs set, replace the EBCM.
