Circuit/System Verification

  1. Ignition ON, verify that DTCs U1826, U1827, or C0292 are not set.
  2. Perform the steering angle sensor calibration procedure. Refer to Steering Angle Sensor Centering .
  3. With a scan tool, clear the DTC.
  4. Operate the vehicle within the conditions for running the DTC. Verify the DTC does not reset.
    • If the DTC resets, replace the steering angle sensor.
