Installation Procedure

NOTE: During installation ensure that the child tether anchors are installed with the anti-rotation tabs firmly seated in the anti-rotation tab holes on the cross car beam.

  1. Install the child tether anchor to the cross car beam.
    2. CAUTION: Refer to FASTENER CAUTION .
  2. Install the child tether anchor bolt and tighten to 30 N.m (22 lb ft).
  3. Install the rear shelf trim panel. Refer to Rear Window Panel Trim Replacement (Sedan) or Rear Window Panel Trim Replacement (Coupe) .
