Installation Procedure

  1. Locate the 4 air cleaner duct alignment studs.
  2. Install the air cleaner assembly, use a GM approved non-silicone lubricant in order to help with installation of the outlet duct to the throttle body.
    3. CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .
  3. Tighten the air cleaner outlet duct clamp (1) at the throttle body to 3 N.m (27 lb in).
  4. Install the PCV fresh air hose to the resonator duct.

  5. Connect the engine wiring harness electrical connector to the MAF/IAT sensor.
