Circuit/System Testing
- Engine running measure and record the voltage at the battery terminals. Verify that the battery voltage is 12.6-15.5 volts.
- Ignition OFF, disconnect the harness connector at the ESC module.
- Ignition OFF, test for less than 5 ohms of resistance between the ground circuit terminal 2 and ground.
- If greater than the specified range, test the ground circuit for an open/high resistance.
- Ignition On, verify a test lamp illuminates between the B+ circuit and Ignition circuit listed below.
- B+ terminal 1
- IGN terminal 19
- If test lamp did not illuminate, test the B+ or the Ignition circuit for an open/high resistance.
- If all circuits test normal, replace the ESC module.
