Disconnect Procedure

  1. Remove the front compartment sight shields as necessary. Refer to Front Compartment Sight Shields Replacement in Body Front End.
    2. CAUTION: Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution in Cautions and Notices.
  2. Turn OFF all the lamps and accessories.
  3. Turn the ignition OFF.
  4. Disconnect the battery negative cable (2) from the battery.
