Installation Procedure

  1. Position the engine compartment fuel line to the vehicle.
    2. Fig 1: Identifying Fuel Hose Fitting & Retainer

  2. Connect the engine compartment fuel line fitting (4) to the fuel rail. Refer to Metal Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service .
  3. Connect the engine compartment fuel line fitting (2) to the chassis fuel feed pipe. Refer to Metal Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service .
  4. Install the quick connect retainer clips to the fuel line fittings (2,4).
  5. Install the front section of the supercharger inlet duct assembly. Refer to Supercharger Inlet Duct Assembly Replacement .
  6. Install the fuel tank fill cap.
  7. Check the fuel system for leaks.
  8. Install the engine sight shield. Refer to Intake Manifold Sight Shield Replacement .
