Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the front air deflector. Refer to Front Air Deflector Replacement .
  2. Remove the power steering pulley. Refer to Power Steering Pump Pulley Replacement .
  3. Place a drain pan under the vehicle.
  4. Remove the air cleaner assembly. Refer to Air Cleaner Assembly Replacement .

  5. Disconnect the power steering reservoir outlet hose from the power steering pump.
  6. Disconnect the power steering pressure hose from the power steering pump.

  7. Remove the power steering pump to engine mounting bolt.

  8. Remove the power steering bracket to the engine bolts.
  9. Remove the power steering pump with bracket from the vehicle.
  10. Remove the power steering pump to power steering bracket. Refer to Power Steering Pump Bracket Replacement (LY7)  or Power Steering Pump Bracket Replacement (LH2) .
