Preliminary Procedure: Disconnect the battery negative cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection .
1	Battery Negative Cable Bolt CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution . Tighten: 20 N.m (15 lb ft)

3	Battery Current Sensor Procedure Disconnect any electrical connectors as needed. Mark the position of the battery current sensor before removing it from the battery negative cable.
