Circuit/System Testing

Ignition ON, verify DTC C0895 is set as current.
- If the DTC is not current. refer to Charging System Test .
Ignition OFF, disconnect the harness connector at the ESC module.
Ignition OFF, test for less than 5 ohms of resistance between the ground circuit terminal 2 and ground.
- If greater than the specified range, test the ground circuit for an open/high resistance.
Engine running, test for 9.5-15.5 volts between the B+ circuit terminal 1, Ignition 1 circuit terminal 19 and ground.
- If greater than the specified range, refer to Charging System Test .
- If less than the specified range, test the B+ or the ignition 1 circuit for an open/high resistance.
If all circuits test normal, replace the ESC module.
