Preliminary Procedure:
Remove the body side trim panel. Refer to Body Side Rear Trim Panel Replacement (w/TB5) or Body Side Rear Trim Panel Replacement (w/o TB5) .

Accessory and Liftgate Control Module

Procedure

Disconnect the electrical connectors.
Reprogram the accessory and liftgate control module if replaced. Refer to Control Module References .

Tip:

The liftgate control module is located behind the liftgate close actuator assembly.
Push in the tab to release the module from the liftgate actuator bracket.
