Installation Procedure

  1. Install the shift lever to the steering column.
  2. Connect the shift lever electrical connector.
    3. Fig 1: Locating Shift Lever & Screw

    NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice .
  3. Install the TORX® head shift lever screw.

    Tighten:  Tighten the screw to 20 N.m (15 lb ft).

  4. Roll the seal over the TORX® head shift lever screw.
  5. Install the steering column trim covers. Refer to Steering Column Trim Covers Replacement .
