Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page does not describe the selected car, but rather 6 other vehicles, including the 2003 GMC Savana Special, 2003 GMC Savana Camper Special, 2003 GMC Savana, 2003 Chevrolet RV Cutaway, and 2003 Chevrolet Cutaway.   1. Install the fixed antenna cable/base (3).
    CAUTION: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE .
  2. Install the antenna cable/base mounting bolts (4).

    Tighten 

    Tighten the antenna cable/base mounting bolts (4) to 11 N.m (97 lb in).

  3. Route the antenna base cable under the A/C case and through the hole in the firewall.
  4. Install the antenna cable grommet (5) through firewall and seat the grommet (5).
  5. Install the antenna collar (2).
  6. Connect the antenna base cable to the antenna extension cable.
  7. Install the passenger side hinge pillar trim. Refer to TRIM REPLACEMENT - HINGE PILLAR .
  8. Install the antenna mast (1). Refer to Fixed Antenna Mast Replacement .
