Installation Procedure

    NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice .
  1. Position the ignition lock cylinder housing to the steering column and install the 3 TORX® screws.

    Tighten:  Tighten the TORX® screws to 7 N.m (62 lb in).

  2. Install the park lock cable into the lock cylinder housing.
  3. Connect the passlock and key buzzer to the ignition lock cylinder case.
  4. Install the ignition switch. Refer to Ignition and Start Switch Replacement .
  5. Install the inflatable restraint steering wheel module coil. Refer to Inflatable Restraint Steering Wheel Module Coil Replacement .
  6. Enable the SIR system. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling .
