Failure to observe the correct procedure could cause deployment of the SIR components, personal injury, or unnecessary SIR system repairs. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice . Fastener Tightening Specifications: Refer to Fastener Tightening Specifications . Preliminary Procedure Disable the SIR. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling . Remove the center console. Refer to Front Floor Console Replacement (Left Hand Drive) or Front Floor Console Replacement (Right Hand Drive) .

Tighten: 10 N.m (89 lb in)
