Installation Procedure

Install the yaw rate sensor/lateral and longitudinal accelerometer (1).

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

Install the 2 yaw rate sensor/lateral and longitudinal accelerometer nuts (2).
Tighten: Tighten the yaw rate sensor/lateral and longitudinal accelerometer mounting nuts to 9 N.m (80 lb in).

Connect the yaw rate sensor/lateral and longitudinal accelerometer electrical connector (2) to the yaw rate sensor/lateral and longitudinal accelerometer (1).
Perform the ABS diagnostic system check. Refer to Diagnostic System Check - ABS .
