Removal Procedure

  1. Open the door.
  2. Remove the lower screw from the side window filler panel applique.

    Pull the windshield weatherstrip downward at the base of the pillar to expose the lower screw.

  3. Remove the side window filler panel applique cover to expose the inner screw.
  4. Remove the inner screw from the side window filler panel applique.

    IMPORTANT: Do Not remove the windshield weatherstrip passed the upper corner of the windshield pillar to service the windshield weatherstrip side retainer.
  5. Remove the windshield weatherstrip from the side retainer.

    Grasp the center of the windshield weatherstrip, pull downward until the windshield weatherstrip is fully released from the side retainer.

  6. Remove the windshield weatherstrip side retainer screws.
  7. Remove the windshield weatherstrip side retainer from the windshield reveal molding.
