Installation Procedure

  1. Install the windshield weatherstrip side retainer to the windshield reveal molding.
    2. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice .
  2. Install the windshield weatherstrip side retainer screws.

    Tighten:  Tighten the screws to 3 N.m (27 lb in).

  3. Install the windshield weatherstrip to the side retainer.

    Starting in the center of the pillar, working the windshield weatherstrip up and down the windshield pillar until the windshield weatherstrip is fully seated.

  4. Install the side window filler panel applique to the pillar.
  5. Install the inner screw to the side window filler panel applique.

    Tighten:  Tighten screw to 3 N.m (27 lb in).

  6. Install the side window filler panel applique cover to conceal the inner screw.
  7. Install the lower screw to the side window filler panel applique.

    Tighten:  Tighten screw to 3 N.m (27 lb in).

  8. Align the windshield weatherstrip to the base of the windshield pillar.
  9. Inspect the door window for proper sealing.
  10. Close the door.
