Removal Procedure

  1. Disable the SIR system. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling .
  2. Remove the door trim panel. Refer to Door Trim Panel Replacement .
    3. Fig 1: Identifying Inflatable Restraint Side Impact Sensor & Retaining Bolts

  3. Remove the retaining bolts from the inflatable restraint side impact sensor.
  4. Remove the sensor from the vehicle.
