Installation Procedure

Install fan from vehicle.
Connect the fan to the crank adapter shaft.
Connect the engine wiring harness to the engine frame.
Lower the vehicle.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

Tighten the fan nut to the crank adapter shaft using J 41240-5A . See Special Tools and Equipment .
Tighten: Tighten the nut to 100 N.m (74 lb ft).
Install the air cleaner intake duct. Refer to Air Cleaner Outlet Duct Replacement in Engine Controls - 4.6L.
