Installation Procedure

Route the radio antenna extension cable (1) next to the I/P harness, through the I/P carrier to the radio opening, as noted during removal.
Connect the antenna extension cable (1).
Tie strap the antenna extension cable (1) to the IP harness.

Install the radio. Refer to Radio Replacement (U1R, UM5, UM9) or Radio Replacement (U3Q, U3R, U3S) .
For DTS vehicles equipped with a center console, Install the left console trim panel. Refer to Console Trim Panel Replacement - Left (DTS) in Instrument Panel, Gages and Console.
For base DeVille and DHS, Install the instrument panel (IP) center compartment. Refer to Compartment Replacement - Instrument Panel (I/P) (Base and DHS) or Compartment Replacement - Instrument Panel (I/P) (DTS) in Instrument Panel, Gages and Console.
