Installation Procedure

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

Install 3 TORX® screws into the lock cylinder housing.
Tighten: Tighten the TORX® screws to 7 N.m (62 lb in).
Install the turn signal cancel cam. Refer to Steering Column Tilt Head Housing Replacement (Tilt) or Steering Column Tilt Head Housing Replacement (Standard) .
Install the park lock cable into the lock cylinder housing.
Install the ignition switch. Refer to Ignition Switch Replacement .
Enable the SIR system. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling Zone 3 in SIR.
