Removal Procedure

- Remove the rear seat from the vehicle. Refer to Seat Replacement-Rear (Extended Cab W/4Th Door) or Seat Replacement-Rear (Extended Cab) or Seat Replacement-Rear (60/40 Split) .
- Remove the seat back folding cover, if equipped.
- Remove the armrest from the seat back, if equipped. Refer to Armrest Replacement-Rear Seat (60/40 Split) .
- Remove the head restraints (1) from the seat back. Refer to Head Restraint Replacement .
- Release the J-clips from the seat back cover.
- Release the hook, and the loop strips retaining the seat back cover (2) to the foam pad (12).
- In order to ease removal, place a piece of cardboard between the seat back cover and the foam pad.
- Working from side to side, carefully lift the seat back cover from the foam pad.
