Installation Procedure

NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in Cautions and Notices.
  1. Install the speed sensor with a NEW O-ring seal.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the sensor to 17 N.m (13 lb ft).

  2. Connect the speed sensor electrical connector (1).
  3. Install the transfer case shield, if equipped. Refer to TRANSFER CASE SHIELD REPLACEMENT .
