Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the instrument panel (I/P) cluster bezel. Refer to BEZEL REPLACEMENT - INSTRUMENT PANEL (I/P) CLUSTER in Instrument Panel, Gages, and Console.
  2. Remove the air deflector louver.
  3. Disengage the retainers, and pull out the headlamp, shift control, and cargo lamp switches in order to disconnect the electrical connectors.

  4. Disconnect the following electrical connectors:
    • Cargo lamp switch (1)
    • Shift control switch (2, 3)
    • Headlamp switch (4)
  5. Remove the headlamp, shift control, and cargo lamp switch housing.

  6. Remove the shift control switch from the housing.
