Installation Procedure

  1. Install the power steering cooler to the vehicle.
    2. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  2. Install the power steering cooler retaining bolt.

    Tighten:  Tighten the bolt to 9 N.m (80 lb in).

  3. Install the power steering cooler hoses.
  4. Install the intake air resonator. Refer to Intake Air Resonator Replacement in Engine Controls 2.6 L and 3.2 L.
  5. Bleed the power steering system. Refer to Bleeding the Power Steering System .
