Installation Procedure

  1. Install the rear shoulder belt retractor (1). Engage the tab on the retractor (1).
    2. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  2. Install the seat belt retractor fastener (2).

    Tighten:  Tighten the rear seat retractor fastener to 30 N.m (22 lb ft).

  3. Route the shoulder belt through the sail panel and verify that it is not twisted.
  4. Install the shoulder belt fastener.

    Tighten:  Tighten the shoulder bolt fastener to 30 N.m (22 lb ft).

  5. Install the sail panel. Refer to Sail Panel Replacement in Interior Trim.
  6. Install the rear trim shelf panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Rear Window Shelf in Interior Trim.
  7. Install the rear seat back. Refer to Seat Back Replacement - Rear in Seats.
  8. Install the rear seat cushion. Refer to Seat Cushion Replacement - Rear in Seats.
