Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the door trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Side Front Door .
  2. Remove the door module. Refer to Door Control Module Replacement .
  3. Remove the inside door handle. Refer to Door Handle Replacement - Front Inside .
  4. Remove the push-in fasteners at the corners of the water deflector.
  5. Remove the mirror wire harness retainer from the inner door panel.
  6. Pull the water deflector away from the door, while guiding the inside door handle rod (1) through the opening (2), being careful not to damage the sealer.
