Removal Procedure
- Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle
in General Information.
- Remove and support the exhaust from the catalytic converters. Refer to Exhaust System Replacement (LA3, LY9)Exhaust System Replacement (LY7)Exhaust System Replacement (LS6)
in Engine Exhaust.

- Remove the transmission mount lower mounting nuts.
- Support the transmission with a screw jack and block of wood.

- Remove the outer transmission mounting bolts.

- Remove the transmission support from the vehicle.
