Removal Procedure

  1. Turn OFF the ignition.
  2. Remove the rear compartment trim. Refer to Compartment Trim Panel Replacement - Rear in Body Rear End.
  3. To access the mounting nuts, remove the rear trim panel shelf. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Rear Window Shelf in Interior Trim.
  4. Remove the 2 yaw rate sensor mounting nuts.
  5. Disconnect the yaw rate sensor electrical connector.
  6. Remove the yaw rate sensor from the mounting studs.
