Installation Procedure

IMPORTANT: The stop lamp switch is self adjusting when installed properly in the fully locked position. The twist lock type switch requires no further adjustment.

Install the stop lamp switch into the retainer.

Press the switch (2) into the retainer until the switch plunger is fully depressed into the switch barrel.
Rotate the switch (2) clockwise until travel has stopped and the switch locks fully into position.
Connect the stop lamp/ABS/shift lock switch electrical connectors to the stop lamp switch (2).
Install sound insulator. Refer to Closeout/Insulator Panel Replacement - Left (LHD) or Closeout/Insulator Panel Replacement - Left (RHD) in Instrument Panel, Gages and Console.
