Installation Procedure

  1. Install the blower control module.
    2. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  2. Install the blower control module screw (1).

    Tighten:  Tighten the screw to 1.4 N.m (12 lb in).

  3. Connect the blower control module electrical connector.

  4. Connect the blower motor electrical connector (1).

  5. Reposition the DIM bracket to the original position.
  6. Install the 2 rear DIM bracket screws.

    Tighten:  Tighten the screws to 1.4 N.m (12 lb in).

  7. Install the DIM. Refer to Dash Integration Module Replacement (LHD) or Dash Integration Module Replacement (RHD) in Body Control System.
  8. Install the instrument panel compartment. Refer to Compartment Replacement - Instrument Panel (I/P) in Instrument Panel, Gages, and Console.
  9. Install the right sound insulator. Closeout/Insulator Panel Replacement - Right (LHD) or Closeout/Insulator Panel Replacement - Right (RHD) in Instrument Panel, Gages, and Console.
