Ignition System

  1. Inspect the operation of the Crankshaft Position (CKP) sensors "A" and "B".
  2. Test for proper ignition voltage output using the J 26792 Spark Tester.
  3. Inspect for damaged ignition coils within the ignition coil module assemblies.
  4. Inspect for damaged or misaligned spark plug boots.
  5. Inspect for a mission or damaged ignition module ground spring.
  6. Inspect the spark plugs.
