Starter Motor Replacement: Removal

  1. Disconnect the battery negative cable.
  2. Remove the intake manifold.
  3. Disconnect the BAT cable from the starter. See Fig 1. Disconnect the wire from the "S" terminal on the starter.
  4. Remove the 2 starter motor mounting bolts. See Fig 2. Remove the starter motor.
