Installation Procedure

NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in Cautions and Notices.

Install the replacement horn to the original bracket or the replacement bracket supplied with the kit.
Verify the orientation of the horn trumpet to the mounting bracket is correct

Tighten

Tighten the horn to the mounting bracket fastener to 10 N.m (90 lb in).
Install the horns (1) to the frame rail.
Install the fasteners to secure the horns (1) to the body.
Tighten

Tighten the fasteners to 15 N.m (11 lb ft).

Connect the horn electrical connectors (1) to the horns (2).

Install the front air deflector. Refer to BODY FRONT END in Body Front End.
Lower the vehicle. Refer to LIFTING AND JACKING THE VEHICLE in General Information.
