Installation Procedure

  1. Slide the module (2) up into the bracket (1) until the bottom clears the bracket and sits flush within the bracket.
  2. Connect the electrical connector.
  3. Install the driver side sound insulator. Refer to INSTRUMENT PANEL, GAGES, AND CONSOLE  or INSTRUMENT PANEL, GAGES, AND CONSOLE  or CLOSEOUT/INSULATOR PANEL REPLACEMENT RIGHT (LHD)  or INSTRUMENT PANEL, GAGES, AND CONSOLE  in Instrument Panel Gages and Console.
  4. Program the theft deterrent system. Refer to PROGRAMMING THEFT DETERRENT SYSTEM COMPONENTS   .
