Installation Procedure

Install the afterboil coolant pump.
NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in Cautions and Notices.
Install the afterboil coolant pump bolts (1).
Tighten

Tighten the bolts to 10 N.m (89 lb in).
Connect the afterboil coolant pump electrical connector (2) to the afterboil coolant pump (3).

Connect the hose to the afterboil coolant pump.
Using the J 38185 slide the hose clamp (1) back into the original position on the hose.

Connect the hose to the afterboil coolant pump.
Using the J 38185 slide the hose clamp (1) back to the original position on the hose.

Fill the coolant. Refer to DRAINING AND FILLING COOLING SYSTEM .
