Installation Procedure

Install the energy absorber (1) to the body.
NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in Cautions and Notices.
Install the three nuts (2).
Tighten

Tighten the nuts to 25 N-m (18 lb ft).
Install the bolt (3).
Tighten

Tighten the bolt to 25 N-m (18 lb ft).

Install the exhaust system (4) to the exhaust hangers (3) on the rear energy absorbers.
Install the rear impact bar. Refer to IMPACT BAR REPLACEMENT - REAR BUMPER .
